전술 분석

Set Details Sucker Punch helps compensate for Brute Bonnet's low Speed, letting it pick off faster threats such as Flygon, Scyther, and Tornadus after chip damage. Crunch gives Brute Bonnet a consistent Dark-type attack that does not rely on the foe attacking, while Thief can remove items from switch-ins after Booster Energy has been consumed. Seed Bomb is a strong STAB move that hits bulky Water- and Ground-types like Swampert, Rhyperior, and Paldean Tauros-W, giving Brute Bonnet more opportunities to make progress against slower teams. Close Combat lets Brute Bonnet pressure Steel- and Dark-types such as Copperajah, Duraludon, and Scrafty. Growth can be used on sun teams to make Brute Bonnet even harder to switch into, but dropping Close Combat or Seed Bomb leaves Brute Bonnet less effective against bulky Steel- and Dark-types or Water- and Ground-types, respectively. Booster Energy activates Protosynthesis without sun support, giving Brute Bonnet an immediate Attack boost that strengthens all of its attacks. This notably lets Close Combat always OHKO maximum HP Copperajah while also giving Seed Bomb a chance to OHKO physically defensive Vaporeon after Stealth Rock. Black Glasses strengthens Brute Bonnet's Dark-type attacks without being consumed, letting it keep the boost throughout the game, notably giving Crunch a chance to OHKO maximum HP Bronzong. 164 Speed EVs let Brute Bonnet outspeed uninvested Klefki and Florges, defensive Tsareena and Incineroar, and slower, bulky Pokemon such as Wo-Chien and Houndstone. The remaining HP investment improves Brute Bonnet's bulk, notably allowing it to avoid being OHKOed by Adamant Incineroar's U-turn after Stealth Rock while ensuring Tornadus's Bleakwind Storm is a 2HKO. Tera Dark further boosts Brute Bonnet's Dark-type attacks, with Black Glasses giving Sucker Punch an extremely favorable chance to OHKO Tornadus and heavily damage even resistant targets like Infernape after some chip damage. Tera Poison flips Brute Bonnet's Fairy- and Fighting-type weaknesses against Pokemon such as Sylveon, Flamigo, and Paldean Tauros-F, letting it more safely stay in against them. Brute Bonnet fits best on offensive teams that appreciate its ability to pressure bulky Pokemon while threatening faster attackers with Sucker Punch. On sun teams, setters such as Uxie and Whimsicott can provide Sunny Day support and create entry opportunities with Memento, giving Brute Bonnet safer chances to start wallbreaking, while other sun sweepers like Venusaur and Scovillain help overwhelm shared checks such as Altaria, Gligar, and Goodra. In return, Brute Bonnet pressures specially bulky Pokemon such as Chansey and Bellibolt that can otherwise trouble its teammates. Pivots such as Tornadus, Flygon, and Kilowattrel are useful for bringing Brute Bonnet in safely against slower Pokemon it threatens, such as Galarian Slowbro, Vaporeon, and Wo-Chien. Entry hazard support from Pokemon such as Klefki, Copperajah, and Gligar helps wear down faster threats into range of Sucker Punch, while teammates like Heracross, Flamigo, and Basculegion-M appreciate Brute Bonnet handling walls such as Bellibolt, Bronzong, and Vaporeon for them. Intimidate users such as Incineroar and Paldean Tauros-F can weaken Brute Bonnet's attacks and force prediction, making special attackers like Meloetta and Inteleon useful partners for pressuring them without caring about Intimidate. Other Pokemon that resist Brute Bonnet's STAB attacks, such as Infernape, Flamigo, Sylveon, and Scream Tail, can switch in and turn it into a momentum sink. Vaporeon and Paldean Tauros-W can switch into Fire-types such as Incineroar and Infernape, while Galarian Slowbro covers Fighting- and Fairy-types like Flamigo, Sylveon, and Scream Tail. Munkidori can also pressure these Fairy- and Fighting-types offensively. In return, Brute Bonnet pressures bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Vaporeon and Swampert, giving these partners easier turns to make progress.
