Quaxwell likes to be paired with Pokemon like Hisuian Sliggoo, Koffing, and Tinkatuff, since they can check common Grass-types like Thwackey, Servine, and Ivysaur. Teams that have Drakloak can stop Quaxwell from removing hazards, so teammates such as Girafarig and Monferno are great for being able to switch in and punish them.
