Phân tích

Jumpluff is a sun staple, providing fast and invaluable support in the form of speed control and sleep, among others. Sunny Day is a good option because of Jumpluff's high Speed, letting it reliably override opposing weather before anything moves while boosting the power of allies such as Charizard. Rage Powder is the preferred last option, keeping frail allies like the aforementioned Charizard safe by redirecting away opposing attacks such as Wave Crash from Basculegion. Encore, on the other hand, punishes passive play like Fake Out and Protect. Pollen Puff can heal up allies like Ursaluna while also giving it an attacking move, making sure that Jumpluff isn't entirely useless when Taunted. Leaf Storm is a more offensive option, allowing Jumpluff to hit foes such as Ursaluna-B, Tera Water Gholdengo, and Basculegion in a pinch. Covert Cloak blocks Fake Out from the likes of Rillaboom, letting Jumpluff continue to support its team without disturbance. Tera Water flips Jumpluff's weaknesses to Fire- and Ice-type attacks such as Flare Blitz from Incineroar and Blizzard from Alolan Ninetales into resistances while granting a resistance to Make It Rain from Gholdengo, boosting its longevity. The bulk lets Jumpluff survive Draco Meteor from Life Orb Hydreigon, Overheat from Magmar when not in the sun, 4 hits of Scale Shot from Dragonite, and almost always avoids a 2HKO from Iron Head from +1 Kingambit. The Speed investment lets Jumpluff always outspeed Adamant Sneasler. Especially when the sun is active, Jumpluff is able to very easily outspeed a lot of threats such as Sneasler and put them to sleep. After that, however, Jumpluff relies entirely on its partners to deal damage, leaving it very easy to ignore and its partner vulnerable to being double targetted. This can be taken further with moves like Taunt, which removes Jumpluff's ability to attempt to save its partner with moves such as Rage Powder and Sleep Powder.
