Heal Bell provides Aromatisse and its teammates with cleric support. Toxic allows Aromatisse to cripple Pokemon like Gigalith and Charizard. Calm Mind is an option for the last slot to give Aromatisse a more offensive precense; however, many Fairy-resistant Pokemon such as Centiskorch and Aggron can overwhelm Aromatisse with sheer power. Aroma Veil is a useful ability that prevents Aromatisse from being shut down by Taunt and Encore. Heavy-Duty Boots is an alternative option over Leftovers to prevent Aromatisse from being worn down by entry hazards, though the passive recovery from Leftovers is generally preferred. Aromatisse fits best on bulky offense and balance builds that value Wish support and a sturdy Fighting-type check. Pokemon like Gallade and Magmortar can pressure Spikes users like Ferroseed and Garbodor, who otherwise heavily exploit Aromatisse's passivity. In return, Aromatisse can cleanse them of status and give them easier entry with Wish support. Weezing and Jellicent can help provide a secondary Fighting-type check and can check offensive breakers like Aggron and Silvally-Steel, respectively. Gigalith and Lanturn can help check strong Fire-types such as Magmortar and Charizard that Aromatisse invites in, both also greatly valuing the Wish support Aromatisse provides.

Set Description Physically defensive Aromatisse can reliably beat physical attackers such as Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan, Zeraora, Choice Band Haxorus, and Urshifu-R. Draining Kiss can be used on physically defensive Aromatisse to improve its odds against specially defensive Choice Band Haxorus, non-Pixie Plate and non-Choice Specs Primarina, and Choice Band or Assault Vest Azumarill, due to the healing from Draining Kiss helping Aromatisse survive damage dealt by Struggle. However, since Moonblast's high Base Power, lack of contact, and 30% Special Attack drop chance are hard to miss out on, Draining Kiss Aromatisse often sacrifices important matchups or reliability versus Pokemon like non-Skill Swap Cresselia, physically defensive Chansey, and Sitrus Berry Tapu Fini. EVs Maximum Defense EVs are used to improve Aromatisse's odds to survive moves like Iron Tail from Adamant Choice Band Haxorus. The remaining 4 EVs are put in Special Defense for overall bulk. Usage Tips Versus Choice Band Azumarill, Aromatisse should use Disable on turn 1. However, versus non-Choice Band Azumarill, Aromatisse should use Encore turn 1. If Azumarill reveals itself to be its stall set based on the moves it uses on turn 1, Aromatisse should then follow up with Disable, then use an attack, then Trick Room, followed by an attack as Azumarill uses Rest. It should use an attack again, then Encore, then an attack, then Disable, then finally Encore. This nets Azumarill a total of three Struggles due to its inability to act while asleep, which allows the Aromatisse user to utilize slow Disable and slow Encore to secure the win. If Azumarill does not use Rest on turn 5, then Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 6, Disable on turn 7, and an attack on turn 8. Aromatisse loses to Assault Vest Azumarill regardless of whether or not Azumarill has Iron Tail, as Aromatisse is usually unable to survive the damage from two turns of Play Rough and two turns of Struggle. Aromatisse can use Encore on turn 1 followed by Disable on turn 2, then attack twice to have the best odds against non-Iron Tail Assault Vest Azumarill. Versus Chansey, Aromatisse should use Encore immediately followed by Disable, then Moonblast twice to secure the win. However, Aromatisse does not defeat specially defensive Chansey, as Aromatisse does not deal enough damage to KO it in a single Disable sequence. Versus Cresselia, Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 1. If Cresselia uses Trick on turn 1, follow the Trick sequence outlined in the overview section of this analysis. If Cresselia uses any other move, Aromatisse should use Disable on turn 2, followed by Moonblast twice, then Encore again, followed by Moonblast, Trick Room, Disable, then Encore, and finally Moonblast twice again. Aromatisse should repeat the sequence starting from Encore turn 1 until Cresselia faints. However, if Cresselia uses Stored Power on turn 5, Aromatisse should instead use Trick Room on turn 6, Disable on turn 7, and use Moonblast on turn 8 to avoid losing to Stored Power. Note that Aromatisse only defeats Leftovers Cresselia if it successfully lowers Cresselia's Special Attack with Moonblast at least once with its first two Moonblasts, which is a 51% chance. Additionally Cresselia always wins if it uses Skill Swap, as this move allows it to obtain Aroma Veil and consequently confer immunity to Aromatisse's Encore and Disable. Versus Galarian Darmanitan, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1. If the damage Aromatisse takes reveals that Galarian Darmanitan has the ability Gorilla Tactics, use Disable immediately. Otherwise, use Encore, then Disable, followed by two attacks. Aromatisse loses to Choice Band Galarian Darmanitan, as Aromatisse can not survive Icicle Crash + Struggle from it. Versus Dragapult, Aromatisse should use Trick Room turn 1. If Dragapult reveals itself to be its Choice Specs set with its moves and damage dealt on turn 1, Aromatisse should use Disable immediately then finish Dragapult off by attacking twice. If Dragapult uses Phantom Force turn 1, Disable should be used on turn 3 if the damage dealt reveals it to be its Choice Band set on turn 2. In all other cases, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1, followed by Encore, then Disable to secure the win. Versus Garchomp, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1. If the damage dealt by Garchomp reveals it to be its Choice Band set, Disable should be used immediately, followed by Moonblast twice. If Garchomp uses a status move, Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 2, followed by two Moonblasts. Otherwise, it can use Moonblast twice to secure the win against Haban Berry and Choice Scarf Garchomp. Furthermore, Disable can be used on turn 2 instead of a second Moonblast versus Custap Berry Garchomp to avoid the prediction-reliant situation on turn 3, where Aromatisse has to either attack as Garchomp also attacks or use Encore while Garchomp uses Endure. Aromatisse does not defeat Poison Jab Life Orb Garchomp, as it can use a combination of Poison Jab and Earthquake to get around Aromatisse's Disable. Versus Haxorus, Aromatisse should use Trick Room turn 1. What Aromatisse does next depends on what move Haxorus uses on turn 1. If Haxorus uses a status move, it should use Encore then attack twice. If Haxorus uses Iron Tail and misses, uses Earthquake and does enough damage to reveal it to be its Choice Band set, or uses Poison Jab but does not inflict poison, Aromatisse should use Disable followed by two attacks. Otherwise, Aromatisse can attack twice. This sequencing allows it to defeat even specially defensive Haxorus sets that may survive one instance of its Rocky Helmet + Moonblast combo, as Iron Tail followed by Struggle from Adamant Choice Band Haxorus always KOes it. Also, by using Disable on Haxorus's Earthquake, Aromatisse ignores the slight risk of getting 2HKOed by Adamant Choice Band Haxorus's Earthquake. Versus Kyurem, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1. If the damage dealt by Kyurem reveals it to be its Choice Specs set, or you believe that Kyurem is a Choice Scarf variant, Aromatisse should use Disable immediately. A good indicator of the Choice Scarf set is if Kyurem uses Ice Beam. If the damage dealt by Kyurem does not threaten to KO Aromatisse with two attacks and two Struggles, it should use Encore, then use Disable, and then attack twice to secure the victory. Versus Landorus-T, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1. If the damage dealt by Landorus-T reveals it to be its Choice Band set, or if you think Landorus-T is using a Choice Scarf set, Aromatisse should use Disable immediately followed by two attacks. If Landorus-T uses a status move such as Swords Dance or Bulk Up on turn 1, Encore should be used on turn 2, followed by an attack on turn 3, then Disable on turn 4, and ending off with a final Encore and two attacks. Aromatisse does not defeat Choice Band Landorus-T running Iron Tail, as Aromatisse can not survive the damage from Iron Tail and two turns of Struggle. Similarly, Aromatisse does not defeat Assault Vest Landorus-T regardless of it having Iron Tail or not, as Aromatisse can't survive the damage from two Earthquakes and two Struggles. Also, Aromatisse does not usually defeat Life Orb Landorus-T, as it's unable to survive Landorus-T's Life Orb-boosted Earthquake followed by two Smack Downs. Versus Galarian Moltres, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1, then use Encore, followed by Disable and two attacks. Versus weak Primarina sets that have a lower Special Attack stat, like certain Wacan Berry sets, Aromatisse should use Encore immediately followed by Disable, then attack twice to have the best odds against Primarina. Aromatisse loses to most Primarina sets like Custap Berry, Mental Herb, and Pixie Plate, as it can not reliably survive the damage of Primarina's Moonblasts and Struggles. However, Draining Kiss can be run instead of Moonblast, which allows Aromatisse to defeat non-Pixie Plate Primarina with the use of Encore turn 1 followed by Disable, then Draining Kiss twice. Aromatisse does not reliably defeat Choice Specs Primarina, as Hydro Cannon often OHKOes it. Versus stall Registeel, Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 1, then immediately use Disable, followed by an attack, then Trick Room, followed by an attack again as Registeel uses Rest. Aromatisse should then use an attack for the third time, then Encore, then an attack yet again, followed by Disable, then finally Encore. This nets a total of three turns of Struggle damage for Registeel, winning Aromatisse the matchup. If Registeel does not use Rest on turn 5, Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 6, Disable on turn 7, and an attack on turn 8. Aromatisse does not defeat Assault Vest Registeel, as Heavy Slam and Struggle from Registeel does too much damage to it. Versus Assault Vest Rhyperior, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1, then use Encore, followed by Disable, then attack twice. Aromatisse does not reliably defeat Choice Band Rhyperior, as it is unable to survive the combination of Choice Band-boosted Rock Wrecker and Struggle. Versus Spectrier, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1. If the damage dealt by Spectrier on turn 1 reveals it to be its Choice Specs set, Disable should be used immediately. If Spectrier uses an attacking move but does not deal Choice Specs's worth of damage, Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 2 then Disable on turn 3, followed by attacking twice for a guaranteed win with Draining Kiss and the best chance to win with Moonblast. If Spectrier uses a status move on turn 1, the Aromatisse user should time the use of Trick Room, Encore, and Disable to lock the Spectrier into its status move, first whittling Spectrier's HP down with either Aromatisse's Draining Kiss or Moonblast then securing the KO with a Disable sequence. Versus Choice Specs Tapu Fini, Aromatisse should use Encore turn 1 on a predicted Trick, following the Trick sequence outlined in the overview section of this analysis, and Trick Room on turn 1 followed by Disable on a predicted attack, followed by attacking twice to secure the matchup. Versus other Tapu Fini sets, Aromatisse should always use Encore on turn 1. Some Tapu Fini sets like Choice Scarf can use Trick on turn 1; in this case, follow the Trick sequence outlined in the overview section of this analysis. If Tapu Fini uses an attack on turn 1, Aromatisse should use Disable on turn 2 followed by two attacks to have the best chance for victory, as Special Attack drops from either one's Moonblast can often turn the tides of the matchup. If Tapu Fini instead uses Calm Mind on turn 1, Aromatisse should attack on turn 2. If attacking on turn 2 reveals Tapu Fini's item to be Leftovers on turn 2, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 3, followed by an attack, then Disable, followed by Encore, then two attacks. If attacking on turn 2 does not reveal Tapu Fini's item to be Leftovers, Aromatisse should time its use of a combination of Trick Room, Encore, and its attacking move to continuously lock Tapu Fini into Calm Mind while damaging Tapu Fini, keeping in mind that Aromatisse needs to save two of its Encore PP to construct its Encore + Disable sequence at the end required to secure the KO on Tapu Fini. Furthermore, it is to be noted that Aromatisse has a worse matchup against Sitrus Berry Tapu Fini when using Draining Kiss over Moonblast for its attacking move, as it can often fail to KO Tapu Fini due to a lack of sufficient damage. Versus Tapu Koko, Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 1. If Tapu Koko uses an attack, it should use Disable immediately, followed by two attacks. If Tapu Koko uses a status move such as Eerie Impulse or Calm Mind, Aromatisse should then time the use of Trick Room, Encore, and the chosen attacking move to continuously lock Tapu Koko into a status move, preventing it from doing any damage, while whittling down its HP. Aromatisse should then follow up with an Encore + Disable sequence to secure the win, since it can fail to KO Tapu Koko with attacks alone. Aromatisse should be mindful of its usage of Encore PP in this sequence, as Aromatisse needs two Encores to successfully pull off the Encore + Disable strategy required to win. Aromatisse does not reliably defeat Life Orb Tapu Koko, as it does not reliably survive two attacks and the damage from Struggle. Versus Choice Specs Tapu Lele, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1, followed immediately by Disable to secure the matchup. Versus other Tapu Lele, Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 1. If Tapu Lele uses an attack on turn 1, it should immediately use Disable followed by two attacks to have the best chance to win, since Moonblast from Tapu Lele can often flip the matchup around and secure the win for Tapu Lele. If Tapu Lele uses a status move like Calm Mind, Aromatisse should use a combination of Trick Room and Encore while attacking to lower Tapu Lele's HP in order to finally KO it with an Encore + Disable sequence. Aromatisse should be mindful of its usage of Encore PP in this sequence, as Aromatisse needs two Encores to successfully pull off the winning Encore + Disable strategy. Versus Choice Scarf Togekiss, Aromatisse should follow the anti-Trick sequence listed in the overview of this analysis; however, instead of immediately using Disable on the turn after Togekiss uses an attack, Aromatisse should instead use Trick Room followed by Disable. This helps Aromatisse get off its attacks before Togekiss acts, which may help level the unpredictability that Air Slash generates. Aromatisse can not reliably defeat Togekiss, due to the randomness incurred by flinching and paralysis from Togekiss's Air Slash and Thunder Wave. Versus either Urshifu forme, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1 followed by two attacks. However, if it uses a status move on turn 1, Aromatisse should use Encore instead. Versus Choice Specs Zapdos, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1 followed by Disable. Against Maranga Berry Zapdos, Aromatisse should use Encore on turn 1. If Zapdos uses a status move like Eerie Impulse on turn 1, Aromatisse should respond over the next few turns with a combination of Encore and Trick Room to lock Zapdos into the status move while periodically attacking Zapdos to lower its HP - following a sequence of Encore turn 1, Trick Room turn 2, then two attacks, followed by Encore again, then another attack, followed by Trick Room, another Encore, and yet another attack before finally using Disable with a final Encore and two attacks should secure the best chance for victory. Aromatisse does not defeat Life Orb Zapdos, as Aromatisse does not survive the combination of Thunderbolt and Hurricane. Furthermore, Aromatisse does not reliably defeat Pressure stall Zapdos, as the unpredictability generated by Protect makes the matchup near impossible. Versus Zarude, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1. If the damage dealt by Zarude reveals it to be its Choice Band set, Aromatisse should use Disable immediately, followed by two attacks. Otherwise, it should use Encore on turn 2, followed by Disable, then two attacks. Versus Zeraora, Aromatisse should use Trick Room on turn 1. If the damage dealt by Zeraora reveals itself to be its Choice Band set, Disable should be used immediately, followed by two attacks to secure the win. If Zeraora uses a status move like Bulk Up on turn 1, Aromatisse should use Encore immediately on turn 2, following up with an attack on turn 3, then Disable, then ending off with Encore again and an attack. If Zeraora uses Plasma Fists, Aromatisse should use Disable on turn 2, followed by an attack, then Encore, Draining Kiss, then Trick Room again, followed by Encore yet again, then an attack, then Disable, and lastly Encore and a final attack to secure the win.

Moves Trick Room is a major part of what makes Aromatisse a good late-game sweeper, allowing it to take advantage of its low Speed by outspeeding almost all of the tier under it. Nasty Plot augments Aromatisse's Special Attack, giving it an easier time breaking and sweeping through teams. Moonblast is Aromatisse's strongest Fairy-type attack, hitting Dark-, Dragon-, and Fighting-types such as Sneasel, Altaria, and Hariyama for super effective damage. Psychic offers coverage to combat Poison-types such as Garbodor and Golbat that would otherwise give it difficulties. Hidden Power Fire is also an option, targeting both Steel-types such as Klinklang and Silvally-Steel. Hidden Power Ground is another alternative that can be used to target Fire-types such as Delphox and Magmortar on top of the aforementioned Steel-types, although most Fire-types are easier to wear down, and Houndoom and Incineroar are neutrally hit by Moonblast. Set Details The investment in both HP and Special Attack maximizes Aromatisse's bulk and offensive presence. A Quiet nature further augments Aromatisse's power while also helping it outspeed as much as it can under Trick Room. Aroma Veil is the preferred ability due to it preventing Aromatisse from being disrupted by Taunt and Encore from the likes of Mismagius and Whimsicott. Fairium Z turns Moonblast into Twinkle Tackle, which is fairly strong even unboosted and allows Aromatisse to bypass some of its checks at +2, such as Delphox and Klinklang. Usage Tips Since Aromatisse excels as a late-game sweeper, it should wait until Pokemon it cannot break through such as Silvally-Steel have been either weakened enough or removed entirely to begin its sweep. While Aromatisse's bulk is good, it shouldn't be recklessly switched in on attacks when it doesn't have to, as this cuts into its longevity. Furthermore, being weakened limits Aromatisse's ability to find setup opportunities. Aromatisse should mainly set up on Pokemon that are Choice locked into Dark- or Fighting-type attacks such as Sneasel and Braviary, as well as on Dragon-types such as Druddigon. After setting up Trick Room, Aromatisse should aim to use Nasty Plot in order to increase its damage output and become more threatening. However, against frailer, offensive teams, this may not always be necessary. Exercise caution when it comes to using Aromatisse's Z-Move. It should mainly be used to KO Fairy-resistant foes that can take a +2 Moonblast or to break through very specially bulky Pokemon such as Type: Null. Team Options Aromatisse appreciates wallbreakers that can place pressure on specially bulky Pokemon such as Assault Vest Slowking and Mega Audino, so Pokemon such as Mega Glalie, Sceptile, and Alolan Exeggutor make for good partners. Entry hazard support from the likes of Rhydon and Steelix is appreciated, since the chip damage wears down Aromatisse's switch-ins; the previously mentioned examples can also check Poison-types for Aromatisse, while it can deal with Fighting-types for them. Entry hazards can also lessen the need to use Twinkle Tackle against certain Pokemon, allowing Aromatisse to save it until it is more important. Pivots such as Probopass, Rotom, and Xatu are good teammates, since they can get Aromatisse in safely against the likes of Sneasel and ease setup. Rotom and Xatu can provide useful entry hazard removal, while Probopass can trap Steel-types. On more dedicated Trick Room teams, other Trick Room setters such as Mega Audino and Alolan Exeggutor are good partners, as they alleviate some of the pressure placed on Aromatisse to set up. Alolan Exeggutor can also wallbreak for Aromatisse and Mega Audino can provide useful Healing Wish support, all of which give Aromatisse an easier time sweeping. Slow wallbreakers such as Aggron, Hariyama, and Vikavolt appreciate Aromatisse offering them Trick Room support to improve their matchup against offensive teams. In return, they break many of the Pokemon that Aromatisse finds itself struggling with such as Silvally-Steel.

Rest fully heals Aromatisse, and Sleep Talk allows Aromatisse to function while it is asleep. Set Details This set maximizes physical bulk in order to better take on Hitmonlee, Druddigon, Scrafty, and Virizion. 12 Spe is run in order for Aromatisse to outspeed uninvested Slowking. Leftovers is run to recover HP gradually, helping Aromatisse as it sets up Calm Mind. Usage Tips This particular set serves as a late-game setup sweeper for stall teams that can still function as an effective defensive threat. Compared to Mega Audino, Aromatisse has the ability to check Hitmonlee and also possesses an immunity to Taunt and Encore, which are key qualities for a defensive Pokemon. Aromatisse primarily aims to set up on Pokemon it can wall, as well as passive walls such as Alomomola. It can set up on several physical attackers such as Hitmonlee, Mega Banette, and, to a lesser extent, Druddigon. It can also set up on Alomomola with ease. Save Aromatisse for when its counters, such as Escavalier and Bronzong, are removed from the battle, as otherwise it won't be very efficient at sweeping. Team Options Spiritomb or Houndoom can remove Bronzong from the battle and also trap it with Pursuit. Houndoom can also handle Escavalier and Venusaur fairly well. It can also utilize Pursuit to trap the aforementioned Pokemon. Rhyperior can handle Fletchinder decently well and also provides Stealth Rock support. Eelektross is also a decent teammate, as it handles Fletchinder and Mega Camerupt and can use a slow Volt Switch to get Aromatisse in safely.

Moves Wish is Aromatisse's only reliable form of recovery, and it is also able to provide good support by healing teammates. Protect guarantees the Wish is received, as well as allowing passive recovery from Leftovers and scouting Choice-locked attacks. Moonblast is used as a STAB attack that is able to OHKO Haxorus after Stealth Rock. Aromatherapy provides further team support by removing any status effects. Set Details The EVs maximize physical bulk, as that's the only reason Aromatisse should be used over Florges. Leftovers gives Aromatisse some passive recovery. Aroma Veil gives Aromatisse immunity to Taunt and Encore. Usage Tips Aromatisse's resistance to Dark-, Bug-, and Fighting-type attacks lets it switch into threats such as Mega Absol, Heracross, and Mienshao. Its Dragon-type immunity allows it to check threats such as Hydreigon and Haxorus, as they are not able to use their most powerful moves, Draco Meteor and Outrage, respectively. Wish in conjunction with Protect is a means of reliable recovery for Aromatisse and its teammates, but it should be used wisely, as it could give the opponent a free turn to set up. Be wary of phazers, as they can force Aromatisse out through Protect and ruin its Wish recovery. Team Options Bulky Water-types such as Suicune and Swampert can switch into powerful Fire-types such as Entei and Darmanitan, which threaten Aromatisse. Specially defensive Pokemon such as Blissey and Snorlax can reliably take hits from Poison-type special attackers such as Nidoqueen and Roserade, and in return Aromatisse can deal with Heracross and Machamp. Grounded Poison-types such as Nidoqueen and Nidoking are great to soak up Toxic Spikes which Aromatisse hates switching in on. Aromatisse should be used on full stall or semi stall as Florges is better suited for balance.

Moves Trick Room reverses every Pokemon's Speed and can turn Aromatisse's terrible Speed into an advantage. Moonblast is a STAB move and gives Aromatisse some offensive presence so that it isn't dead weight after Trick Room has been set up. Dazzling Gleam is an alternate STAB move; while it is weaker than Moonblast, it targets both of the opposing Pokemon. Helping Hand can make up for Aromatisse's lack of offensive presence by boosting its partner's power. Heal Pulse increases Aromatisse's partner's longevity. Light Screen and Reflect can be used to increase Aromatisse's and its partner's bulk. Protect is a very important move on Aromatisse because it scouts for potential Fake Outs and punishes double targets that aim to stop Trick Room setup onto Aromatisse. Set Details Maximum HP EVs with 220 Defense EVs and a Relaxed nature ensure that Aromatisse survives a Life Orb-boosted Iron Head from Adamant Bisharp, which boosts its chances of getting Trick Room up. Relaxed nature with 0 Speed IVs should be used so that Aromatisse can function better under Trick Room. The rest of the EVs should be dumped into Special Defense so that Aromatisse can take special attacks better. Aroma Veil is by far the best ability for Aromatisse, as it makes Aromatisse and its partner immune to Taunt, allowing Aromatisse to support its teammate better. Sitrus Berry can add to Aromatisse's longevity because it recovers a good amount of HP once Aromatisse's HP drops below half. Safety Goggles can be used to further increase Aromatisse's chances of getting up Trick Room by protecting it from Spore. Usage Tips Aromatisse works best as a lead because it is almost guaranteed to successfully set up Trick Room. Protect should be used for a predicted Fake Out or double target onto Aromatisse. Aromatisse should focus on getting up Trick Room as fast as possible. Once Trick Room is up, Aromatisse should focus on supporting its teammate with its many support options. Team Options Slower Pokemon that can abuse Trick Room, such as Mega Abomasnow, Mega Mawile, Mega Camerupt, Sylveon, and Conkeldurr, are great partners for Aromatisse. Mega Camerupt and Conkeldurr both offer the ability to check Steel-types, mainly Bisharp, that threaten Aromatisse. Mega Camerupt can check Poison-types as well. Pokemon that offer Fake Out support, such as Hariyama and Scrafty, further increase Aromatisse's chances of getting up Trick Room. The two aforementioned Pokemon also work really well under Trick Room due to their low Speed and are able to check the Steel-types that threaten Aromatisse. Redirection support also benefits Aromatisse greatly. Amoonguss is usually the best candidate, as it does not share a weakness with Aromatisse, unlike Clefable and Togekiss. Aromatisse helps Amoonguss by protecting it from Taunt. Steel-types, such as Heatran, Aegislash, Bisharp, and Mega Mawile, work really well with Aromatisse, as they are able to switch into Steel- and Poison-type attacks aimed at Aromatisse with relative ease. Aromatisse, in turn, can soft check Fighting-types that threaten them.
