Set Details Drain Punch allows Hariyama to sustain itself over the course of the battle, helping versus powerful Steel-types like Duraludon. Meanwhile, Close Combat hits much harder, OHKOing Flygon and 2HKOing Vaporeon at +1. Knock Off enables Hariyama to hit common Ghost-types such as Chandelure and Houndstone while also removing items from switch-ins such as Altaria and Gligar. Bullet Punch gives Hariyama the ability to pick off faster weakened Pokemon such as Flamigo and Munkidori, while Heavy Slam allows Hariyama to OHKO the likes of Sylveon and Scream Tail at +1. Leftovers grants Hariyama recovery outside of Drain Punch, which allows it to set up much more easily. Guts allows Hariyama to punish common status-inflicting moves such as Will-O-Wisp, Scald, Thunder Wave, and Toxic from common defensive Pokemon like Altaria, Vaporeon, Klefki, and Amoonguss. 124 Speed EVs enable Hariyama to outspeed the likes of Vaporeon, Sylveon, and Swampert while maximizing Attack. Tera Steel boosts the power of Bullet Punch and Heavy Slam, allowing the former to 2HKO Flamigo and Munkidori at +1 after Stealth Rock and the latter to OHKO both Sylveon and Scream Tail. It also flips Hariyama's weakness to Flying-, Psychic-, and Fairy-type attacks from the likes of Flamigo, Munkidori, and Sylveon. Hariyama fits primarily on bulky offense and balance teams, which appreciate its ability to punish common defensive staples such as Vaporeon and Bellibolt. Dealing with these walls aids partners such as Chandelure and Tornadus in their wallbreaking. Steel-types such as Bronzong and Copperajah are great for Hariyama, as they can take on popular Fairy- and Psychic-types such as Sylveon, Scream Tail, and Munkidori that Hariyama struggles with; in return, Hariyama can help take on common Dark-types such as Incineroar and Scrafty that may threaten them. Hariyama appreciates entry hazard setters such as Gligar, Rhyperior, and Bronzong that can help chip opposing Pokemon that it struggles with such as Sylveon and Scream Tail. In return, Hariyama can use common hazard removal options such as Tsareena and Altaria as potential switch-in opportunities to either start setting up or activate Guts through the latter's Will-O-Wisp. Pivots that can help get Hariyama in, such as Vaporeon and Incineroar, are great partners, as they lure in Pokemon such as Rhyperior, Amoonguss, and Scrafty so Hariyama can start setting up.

Analisi

Set Details Close Combat can be used over Drain Punch, giving Hariyama the ability to 2HKO tanks such as Vaporeon and Bellibolt with a Guts boost. Knock Off allows Hariyama to hit common Ghost-types such as Chandelure and Houndstone while also removing items from switch-ins such as Altaria and Gligar. Bullet Punch gives it the ability to pick off faster weakened Pokemon such as Flamigo and Munkidori. Heavy Slam allows Hariyama to hit Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Scream Tail that might otherwise wall it. Ice Punch enables it to hit the likes of Altaria, Gligar, Scyther, and Flygon. Earthquake can hit Poison-types that usually wall Hariyama, such as Galarian Slowbro and Overqwil, for big damage. Assault Vest allows Hariyama to soak up special attacks from the likes of Chandelure and specially offensive Basculegion-M before responding with its own powerful attacks. Facade, when paired with Guts, gives Hariyama a powerful attack that can put pressure on Pokemon like Cramorant and Scream Tail. With Guts, Hariyama can take advantage of foes that carry status-inflicting moves, like Vaporeon with Scald and Klefki with Thunder Wave, to become an even more threatening wallbreaker. Thick Fat allows it to tank Fire-type attacks from Incineroar and Chandelure. The given EV spread enables Hariyama to outpace Vaporeon and Adamant Rhyperior while tanking attacks from Chandelure and Duraludon. Tera Steel boosts the power of Bullet Punch and Heavy Slam, allowing the latter to OHKO both Sylveon and Scream Tail while giving Hariyama an advantage against Flying-, Psychic-, and Fairy-types like Tornadus, Munkidori, and Sylveon. Hariyama synergizes with bulkier and more offensive styles alike, handling common walls like Bellibolt and Will-O-Wisp Houndstone. Due to Hariyama's lack of longevity, it heavily appreciates Pokemon that can help sustain it, such as Wish Vaporeon and Sylveon as well as Leech Seed Wo-Chien. Steel-types such as Duraludon, Bronzong, and Klefki are heavily appreciated by Hariyama, as they can take on common Flying-, Psychic-, and Fairy-types such as Scyther, Munkidori, and Sylveon that Hariyama struggles against; in return, Hariyama can take on powerful special attackers such as Chandelure and Goodra that might threaten those Steel-types out. Hariyama particularly struggles against Poison-types such as Galarian Slowbro and Tera Poison Sylveon if it does not have Earthquake. Therefore, Pokemon such as Rhyperior and Copperajah that can help take on these Poison-types are great partners for Hariyama. Pivots such as Flygon, Bellibolt, and Vaporeon can help Hariyama get into battle and start wallbreaking against Pokemon such as Bronzong and Tsareena. Hariyama folds to physical attackers like Paldean Tauros-W, Flygon, and even Ambipom, so physically defensive partners such as Houndstone, Sylveon, and Bellibolt are necessary.
