Análisis

Set Details Fire Blast can overwhelm most Pokemon in the tier with its sheer power. Overheat is Scovillain's single strongest attack in the sun at the cost of follow-up damage, securing the OHKO on Duraludon without Terastallizing and dealing massive amounts of damage to Goodra and Incineroar. Flamethrower is a safer option to reliably clean up teams once their special walls have been dealt with. Solar Beam OHKOes notable Fire-resistant Pokemon such as Vaporeon and Flygon. Giga Drain grants Scovillain some longevity and importantly provides it with a Grass-type move to click outside of the sun. A Timid nature ensures that, in the sun, Scovillain outspeeds Choice Scarf Munkidori, Speed Booster Energy Scream Tail, and Cinccino after a Tidy Up. Alternatively, a Modest nature maximizes raw damage output, enabling Scovillain to 2HKO Goodra and specially defensive Incineroar with Tera Fire-boosted Fire Blast. Scovillain needs teammates that can set up the sun. Pokemon with the Prankster ability such as Klefki, Tornadus, Grafaiai, and Whimsicott, are particularly reliable in this role. Klefki also provides entry hazard support with Spikes, while the other three Pokemon have pivoting options in U-turn, Parting Shot, and Memento to help Scovillain enter the field safely. Uxie is another great sun setter, since it can both set up Stealth Rock and pivot with either U-turn or Memento. Offensive threats like Sylveon and Paldean Tauros-W can help lure bulky Steel- and Water-type Pokemon that Scovillain takes advantage of, like Copperajah and Vaporeon. Scovillain also has excellent synergy with fellow sun abusers like Venusaur and Chandelure, since they collectively overwhelm shared checks like Goodra, Incineroar, and Chansey. Brute Bonnet is another sun sweeper that directly takes on these checks while appreciating Scovillain's wallbreaking to finish off teams. Finally, since it is grounded and weak to Stealth Rock, Scovillain appreciates hazard control from the likes of Rapid Spin Brambleghast and Tidy Up Cinccino.
