Análisis

Necrozma-DM's incredible stats in both formes, excellent offensive movepool, and powerful boosting option in Dragon Dance make it one of NatDex Ubers's premier sweepers. Earthquake targets Steel-types such as opposing Necrozma-DM and Zacian-C and also hits Primal Groudon for super effective damage. Stone Edge OHKOes Ho-Oh, which can tank any of +1 Necrozma-DM's other moves except Light That Burns the Sky and either phaze it or use Sacred Fire to hit it pre-Ultra Burst for super effective damage and threaten both formes with a burn. Sunsteel Strike targets Fairy-types such as Arceus-Fairy, and it's especially powerful when it has STAB pre-Ultra Burst. Outrage is an alternative, offering Ultra Necrozma a powerful STAB attack that can hit Dark-types like Yveltal and Arceus-Dark for huge damage, but leaving Necrozma locked into the move makes it a niche option. Light That Burns the Sky provides +1 Ultra Necrozma with the means to OHKO foes such as offensive Arceus formes and defensive Ho-Oh, though Necrozma-DM cannot use it before or on the turn it Ultra Bursts. A spread of 40 HP / 248 Atk / 80 Def / 140 Spe allows Ultra Necrozma to outspeed Chi-Yu unboosted and Choice Scarf Yveltal at +1. The physical investment enables Ultra Necrozma to avoid an OHKO from +2 Arceus's Extreme Speed after Spikes and Choice Band Marshadow's Shadow Sneak after switching into Stealth Rock as Necrozma-DM. The special bulk enables Necrozma-DM to avoid a OHKO from +1 Eternatus's Fire Blast after Stealth Rock. An alternate spread of 16 HP / 192 Atk / 168 Def / 132 Spe allows as Ultra Necrozma to outspeed Yveltal, avoid a OHKO from specially offensive Yveltal's Sucker Punch, and OHKOes defensive Zygarde with +1 Light that Burns the Sky after Stealth Rock. A more situational spread of 16 HP / 244 Atk / 24 Def / 224 Spe with a Jolly nature allows Ultra Necrozma to outspeed Marshadow and Arceus formes unboosted, and avoids an OHKO as Ultra Necrozma from Choice Band Marshadow's Shadow Sneak, and Chien-Pao's Ice Shard after a layer of Spikes, and as Necrozma-DM from Tera Dark Yveltal's Sucker Punch after Stealth Rock, but the loss in bulk over other spreads is noticeable, for example being OHKOed as Ultra Necrozma from +2 Life Orb Arceus's Extreme Speed as Ultra Necrozma. Necrozma-DM best fits on offense teams looking for an exceptionally powerful sweeper that can set up on common offensive threats like Zacian-C. Choosing when to Ultra Burst is essential to letting Necrozma-DM sweep. Doing so provides Ultra Necrozma with the ability to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame and many boosted threats when at +1, such as the likes of Zacian-C and +2 Rock Polish Primal-Groudon, foes a +1 Necrozma-DM fails to outspeed. However, Necrozma-DM's defensive profile becomes considerably worse when it Ultra Bursts, losing bulk, Prism Armor, and many of its resistances, notably exchanging its resistances to Fairy and Ice for weaknesses. However, the loss of its weaknesses to Fire and Ground, notably gaining a resistance to the former, does help Necrozma-DM better take on foes such as Primal Groudon. Gaining a resistance to Water also allows Ultra Necrozma to have an easier time handling Primal Kyogre. Additionally, the increase in Necrozma-DM's power, notably against foes weak to its moves thanks to Neuroforce, and access to Light That Burns the Sky make Ultra Necrozma a more potent wallbreaker. Necrozma-DM enjoys support from entry hazard setters like Deoxys-S, which can wear down foes such as Arceus-Dark and Primal Groudon. Dual screens setters like Grimmsnarl are notably helpful for allowing Necrozma-DM to set up very easily on common attackers like Zacian-C and Eternatus. Fellow wallbreaking and sweeping teammates such as Zacian-C and Arceus can help break holes in the opposing team for Necrozma-DM by eliminating or weakening foes such as Arceus-Dark and Ho-Oh, or they can sweep using the holes it creates breaking through bulky foes such as Primal Groudon and support Arceus formes.

Análisis

Ultra Necrozma's ability to masquerade as defensive Necrozma-DM enables it to lure and remove switch-ins such as Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh, which makes it an attractive option for teams in search of an offensive Stealth Rock setter. Earth Power is used to 2HKO defensive Primal Groudon and Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM. Stone Edge is used primarily to lure and OHKO Ho-Oh and also threatens Yveltal switching in, as it is 2HKOed. The given EV spread enables Ultra Necrozma to outspeed Marshadow, OHKO Eruption Primal Groudon after Stealth Rock with Earth Power and defensive Eternatus after Stealth Rock with Photon Geyser. Additionally, the given EV spread enables Photon Geyser to avoid activating Glimmora's Toxic Debris when used prior to Ultra Bursting, while also still enabling Ultra Necrozma to OHKO Chien-Pao with Stone Edge. The defensive investment enables Ultra Necrozma to survive Choice Band Marshadow's Shadow Sneak. Stealth Rock Ultra Necrozma works best as a lead, but in some games, other options are preferable. Regardless, Ultra Necrozma aims to set Stealth Rock early on and lure in typical counterplay to defensive Necrozma-DM such as Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, and Zygarde. Additionally, Ultra Necrozma can also use Light That Burns the Sky to OHKO physically bulky Pokemon such as Zygarde, support Arceus formes, and Giratina-O before fainting. If entry hazard removal is desired, Choice Scarf Yveltal is a good fit on faster teams due to compressing the roles of a Defogger, a pivot and a revenge killer to Pokemon that threaten Ultra Necrozma such as Marshadow, Arceus, and Zacian-C. Giratina-O is also an option, as it can tailor its moveset to disrupt opposing teams through status while dealing respectable damage and appreciates Ultra Necrozma's ability to remove Pokemon that annoy it such as Ho-Oh and Arceus-Fairy. As Ultra Necrozma struggles heavily with Yveltal, Calm Mind Arceus-Dark or Arceus-Fairy are excellent teammates that provide a sturdy defensive switch-in and appreciate Ultra Necrozma's ability to handle Primal Groudon and Ho-Oh. Alternatively, Zacian-C is an option for more aggressive teams that also revenge kills Marshadow while providing speed control. Eternatus is a great teammate due to absorbing and setting Toxic Spikes while also serving as a soft check to specially offensive Yveltal. In return, Eternatus appreciates Ultra Necrozma's ability to handle Primal Groudon, Zygarde, and Arceus-Ground.
